The National Bed Federation is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. The National Bed Federation collects information from our users at a number of different points depending on how you use and interact with our website.

Event Registration

We use LiveBuzz to provide online registration services for attendance at The Bed Show, this is available on our custom URL at bed-{year}-visitor.reg.buzz.

If you choose to register we will collect various data points to enable the processing of your registration, the data collected is:

Title, first name, last name, job title, company, email address, telephone number (optional), mobile number (optional).

This data is held to facilitate access to the Bed Show.

In subsequent years we will email you regarding upcoming shows, you have the option to unsubscribe from these emails by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of each email.

Log File Analytics & Google Analytics

Our web server records IP addresses and writes these to log files that allow us to analyse visitor numbers on this website, track user’s movement around the website and from page to page, we use this information see how visitors use and interact with our website.

Google Analytics is implemented on this website and collects various data points from visitors to the website. IP Addresses are used to distinguish visitor numbers to the website. Google Analytics will record the country you access this website from using your IP Address. Data gathered by Google Analytics allows us to analyse visitor numbers on this website, track user’s movement around the website and from page to page, we use this information see how visitors use and interact with our website. Contact Form Submissions

If you submit an enquiry or support request through our contact form, that enquiry will be emailed to a mailbox monitored by employees of The National Bed Federation, the email is then stored securely on our email server which enables us to respond to your enquiry.

Your enquiry or support request may be forwarded to one or multiple mailboxes within The National Bed Federation to ensure it is dealt with and acted upon by the apprioriate person.

Awards Submissions

If you submit an awards entry through our website it will be emailed to a mailbox monitored by employees of The National Bed Federation, the email is then stored securely on our email server.

Awards entry submissions are kept on file for six months from the closing date for submissions. Submissions made online will be stored in our website database for a period of 30 days before being deleted.

Website Backups

This website is backed up on a regular basis for security and disaster recovery purposes. The backups are stored securely with Dropbox. Dropbox may store these backups outside of the European Union in line with its undertakings through the EU-US Privacy Shield Program. Website backups will be stored for a maximum of 30 days before being deleted.
